Doop explained that the indemnification agreement is the first step toward resolving serious concerns on both sides of the public-private cabal that are threatening to hamper victory in Germ World War V.   

"Corporate players providing medical and non-medical support at home and abroad are concerned that, in the fight against a mythical virus, the opportunities to actually help people will be few, while the potential for causing harm will be huge, putting profit potential at risk," said Doop.  "The indemnification agreement significantly alleviates those concerns by ensuring that the pocketbooks of ordinary taxpayers will bear the brunt of the inevitable damages."

Advisers to the White House are preparing for an onslaught of litigation resulting from injuries and deaths from experimental treatments, and soldiers wounded or killed in the line of forced vaccination duty.  Urgent legislation is currently underway to establish a Pandemic Claims Court to streamline the claims, and keep the litigation carefully under wraps through strict confidentiality agreements and limitations on allowed claims.   

"Critical national security concerns are at stake that require us to keep close tabs on the claims raised in the litigation process," explained Doop.  "Certain highly sensitive issues, such as whether Ebola XXX actually causes disease, or even exists, must be carefully avoided if we expect to achieve victory in the battle against it."

Attorney Sue Moore of Gitmore & Moore & Associates, president of the Coalition of Lawyers for Long and Lucrative Litigation, indicates the coalition backs the White House plans. 

"Individual lawsuits in courts scattered throughout the country are bound to have highly unpredictable results in a novel pandemic situation, placing attorneys with contingent fee agreements at high risk," said Moore.  "While the potential for uber-awards in the Pandemic Claims Court will be minimal, greater predictability will likely more than make up for the losses."

White House actuarial consultants Goforth & Dye, LLC, are advising that all citizens submit as quickly as possible to any and all experimental treatments for Ebola XXX as soon as they are made available -- or forced to do so, if necessary.  A Goforth & Dye spokesman explained:

"Our concern is that apparitional viruses are historically quite nonthreatening, whereas experimental treatments have a troubling track record.  This is likely to be problematic from a liability standpoint if administration of the treatments is piecemeal, since it will be apparent that those not receiving them are healthier. 

"On the other hand, if experimental treatments are given to everyone simultaneously, it will be impossible to distinguish those who were harmed by the treatments, from those who were harmed by an apparitional virus that turned out to be much more virulent than expected."
